BY OMIKO AWA

THE Federal Palace Hotel and Casino, Victoria Island, Lagos, last Sunday, drew a host of celebrities, who had come for the seventh edition of Nigeria Television Fashion Show.
With the theme Glamour Unlimited, the show aimed at promoting African and Nigerian designers, nurturing emerging talents and creating platform for established designers to showcase their works.
Organised by Nollywood Worldwide Entertainment, (NWWE), in collaboration with Galaxy TV, the event saw models of fashion outfits including Bendmark, Totte, Tangerine, Teda, Deimage, Alvince, Teiju-J, Elldiva, Lemiral, Ra’Cough, Necks & Beads, Grace Hats and Modella strut the runway in creative and sensual wears such as shorts, one arm dress, gown, bridal attires, Afrocentric wears for men and women as well as casuals.
Apart from dresses, models of Necks & beads showcased charming accessories that could complement any dress, while Totte dazzled guests with bags in diverse designs and colours. Grace Hats showed their striking products of different designs for diverse occasions.
Nigerian’s international designer, Modella, electrified the hall with his ‘Adam & Eve’ designs in flora motifs.
However, the evening was not all about fashion. There was also entertainment. Owen G and Misi, who compered, provided guests funfilled time, as they reeled out jokes upon jokes.
Returnee Omoge crooner, Mike Okri, Michael Words, Zowie, Vector the Viper, Liberty group dancers and others intermittently took to the stage to entertain guests, while DJ Baby Love was on the wheel of steel generously dishing out music for the models to catwalk.
